What is a disciple?

A personal follower of Jesus, who applies what he/she has learned.
23 And He was saying to them all, “If anyone wishes to follow Me [as My disciple], he must deny himself [set aside selfish interests], and take up his cross daily [expressing a willingness to endure whatever may come] and follow Me [believing in Me, conforming to My example in living and, if need be, suffering or perhaps dying because of faith in Me]. 24 For whoever wishes to save his life [in this world] will [eventually] lose it [through death], but whoever loses his life [in this world] for My sake, he is the one who will save it [from the consequences of sin and separation from God]. 25 For what does it profit a man if he gains the whole world [wealth, fame, success], and loses or forfeits himself? 26 For whoever is ashamed [here and now] of Me and My words, the Son of Man will be ashamed of him when He comes in His glory and the glory of the [heavenly] Father and of the holy angels. Luke 9:23-26 AMP

Acceptance

You don’t have to attend a service or stand before a preacher to receive salvation. Salvation is as easy as saying the prayer below. Then texting us so we can connect with you on your new journey.

 

Prayer – Lord, Jesus it’s me. I confess with my mouth and believe in my heart that Jesus is Lord. Thank you for the blood that was shed for me. I believed Jesus was raised from the dead. I receive the free gift of salvation, not through my works, but by the finished work of the cross through Jesus’ resurrection. I give my life to you. Lead me into the plans and purposes that you have for me. In Jesus name, Amen.
