#GivingTuesdayNow signifies a global day of giving and unity which will take place on May 5, 2020 as an emergency response to the unprecedented need caused by COVID-19. The day is designed to promote generosity, citizen engagement, business and individual support for communities and nonprofits around the world.
At a time when we are all experiencing the pandemic, generosity is what brings people of all races, faiths, and political views together across our region. Generosity gives an individual power to make a positive change in the lives of others. No matter the amount of time or money, everyone has value… something they can contribute. This Tuesday, the world will stand together and give back. We invite you to be a part.
Our local Upstate region has been greatly affected by this global pandemic. The great need throughout this trying time has not gone unnoticed by Pastor’s John and Aventer. In an effort to be the hands and feet of Jesus, we at Relentless Church will not let Giving Tuesday pass without doing just that.
Our #GivingTuesdayNow initiative challenges those who are a part of the Relentless Church family to give back to our amazing first responders.
This Tuesday, we will support our first responders by providing breakfast and lunch to them. This week is also Teachers Appreciation Week. We will be giving out gift baskets to teachers in our local area to thank them for all they do. Relentless has also partnered with a company to clean and disinfect area schools, while providing a safe place for our kids to return and learn. We will also supply homeless families in our community with healthy, nutritious food packages.
While we are currently socially distant from one another, we can still come together and make this #GivingTuesdayNow initiative a great success. We thank you in advance for your financial support. Your generosity is appreciated.
