Here at Relentless Church we believe in the power of prayer. We count it an honor to pray with you and on your behalf. This prayer wall is an interactive community so please feel free to share a prayer request, pray for the needs of others, and lastly see when others have prayed for you.
We respect your privacy. We will never share your requests publicly if it is against your wishes. If you desire your request to remain private to the Pastoral Staff and/or Elders please chose “do not share this” when you submit your request. I lost my job of 23 years in July 2022. I was the sole bread winner for my family because my husband suffers from physical disabilities and is not able to work. I was denied unemployment. I went without income for almost 5 months. I don’t have to speak to our struggle because, I know you can image the enormous impact it had. I am a member of ROC nation online. The biggest struggle was finding a job that matched my previous salary. I have no college degrees or certifications. All of my retail management experience comes from on the job training. I applied for a job as an assistant manager with a well known Grocery chain. I went to my 1st interview, the HR supervisor was felt so impressed with my resume that she said I was the perfect fit for the job. I interviewed with management and was turned down due to my compensation request. After this I figured that maybe I was asking for too much without having certificates or degrees. I prayed to God about making a sacrifice to a pay decrease. This was a big sacrifice because my former salary was at least $3 an hour more than what they was willing to pay me.
The HR supervisor setup another interview with a different manager whom would agree to my salary request. Only to be turned down again due to a transfer request within the company so the job was no longer available. That very same HR manager said I know you are a perfect fit for this company. I’m going to hire you myself and bring you in as a training manager. Once you have completely finished your training, you’ll be placed in a store to manage. Fast forward, after listening to the message Pastor Gray preached this past Sunday. Mind you, I have only been working for this company training as management for 2 months and was just given a raise that matched my formed job salary. I also have been selected to manage a store that is within walking distance of my house. My last job I had to commute more that 50 miles a day. This is my praise report!! THANK YOU PASTORS JOHN AND ADVENTER GRAY. I am praying for the day I can travel with my family to be apart of in-person worship serviece!
