Reaching the community through Loads of Love

Amidst the COVID-19 pandemic, Relentless Reach took the opportunity to spread “loads of love” into the Greenville community. The annual Loads of Love event is an incredible opportunity for our staff and volunteers to serve. Throughout the month of February, the Relentless Church Family donated detergent, dryer sheets, bleach, and other laundry goods to sponsor the event.

Groups of Reach volunteers were placed in five laundromat locations in the Greenville area to best serve the city. As the morning began, locals began to flood the laundromats and were warmly welcomed by our incredible volunteers. Relentless raised $5,000 this year and was able to fully fund all of the amazing people who needed the laundromat.

Many prayers, many laughs, and many words of wisdom were shared while clothes were washed, dried, and folded. Reach was able to be the hands and feet of Jesus in a time where fear has taken captive many minds surrounding COVID-19. Families were able to visibly capture and tangibly reap the benefits of service in the body of Christ through our commitment to the community. The Loads of Love event is so near and dear to the purpose and mission of our church. We anticipate the event to grow in the years to come.
